In terms of appreciation and pressure, this is the strongest profile of the eight digital communication archetypes.๐ช๐ As the General, you know your purpose AND you know that you are good at it and that only very, very few can hold a candle to you. ๐๏ธ At the same time, you know how to mobilize your customers or fans like almost no other communication archetype.๐ However, this is not even your primary goal, but rather a side effect that results from your talent for creating pressure.๐โจ
You also put personal responsibility very, very high on your agenda - and you communicate this clearly during various opportunities on social media, in your programs or during coaching and consulting sessions.๐โ You don't do anything below that and you are downright uncompromising when your customers or fans end up beingย victimized.๐ดโโ ๏ธ So you are clear about drawing lines around yourself when it comes to your surroundings and the question regarding who you spend your time with.๐๐
Doctor Strange (Marvel)
The Doctor (Doctor Who)
Prof. Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter)
The Mandalorian (Star Wars)
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars)
In the best version, this digital communication archetype is the ultimate go-getter.๐ฆพโจ๐ฅ Simply because you know what you're up for and nothing is holding you back.๐ You're not the type to tolerate people pleasing. Instead, you are the embodiment of bloody honesty and don't hold back when you have something to say.๐ You know that you are needed, but you don't make a secret out of it.๐๐ฏ Accordingly, you don't use the typical marketing tools. They're just too "needy" for you.๐๐ชค๐ชต
You're more of the type of person who allows your customers and followers to do a little extra to work with you.๐ค ๐ ๏ธ You have a "nothing to prove" attitude, which gives you a magnetism that makes people come to you even though they know that your methods can be really hard. That's pretty cool if you get it up like that. ๐โจ๐
The General is the "Master of Pressure" and this is precisely why this communication archetype raises the question of who you want to influence with your pressure and in what direction.๐ค This is particularly important if you are still unclear about what you want to stand for and how explicit you intend to be.๐ฅฝ
Through education and conditioning, we are often trained - especially as coaches - to be empathetic and considerate or indulgent. ๐ And how often have you heard the phrase "It's better to bend than to break." when you, as the supposedly "more reasonable" party in the argument, have been asked to give in? ๐๐ข And how often have you gone up the walls internally throwing burning axes around yourself?
But honestly, if such a truism were really true, the stupid would rule the world alone.๐ฆ That's exactly why your greatest leverage in your communication is to be as clear and straightforward as possible.๐โจ And yes, "direct" is allowed.โผ๏ธ๐ฅ Practice being "relentless" but not "bitchy". Simply because this comes closest to your own nature and is exactly what is appreciated about you (and not otherwise).๐๐ค๐
Over the next 30 minutes, really clarify what your strengths are that you are always being asked for. ๐ชโจ And make sure that they are things that are easy for you and that you enjoy doing. (Yes, things you absolutely love. ๐)
Are you already using these topics for your business? Do you already talk about them? ๐ Or do they perhaps not fit in with your style of consulting, training or coaching at first glance? How come? ๐
Or, to make it clearer: Why are you not yet using your true strengths in your business and therefore not using them in your communication? What is holding you back? Why are you still holding back your skills, experience and expertise? ๐ฅ And more importantly, what - do you think - is really possible? ๐ฆ โญ๐
First of all: I love that you've read this far. ๐ฅ๐ชโจ
But maybe you're already wondering when you will get to the part where you find out what this has to do with your business and your long-term digital communication. ๐ดโโ ๏ธ๐ฎ๐
Well, let me put it this way. You're already in the game. ๐๐
Communication is ALWAYS a very personal component. This also applies if you are online as an entrepreneur, founder or even as an employee. It may sound strange at first glance, but this is precisely the point at which in many campaigns and strategies it is determined whether they work or not. ๐ฏ๐คทโโ๏ธ
That's exactly why I'm doing the personal part with you here in the test first - and also because no one else has really had it on their radar yet. (Fun fact: That's exactly what I always mean by "The Dark Side of Digital Communication". ๐๐)
The best place to start is by integrating your archetype and the insights you have gained from this test result into your existing corporate communication strategy.
And yes, you may feel like you don't know where to start or that you have to completely rebuild everything. But especially the second case is very rare. So feel free to use the foundation you already have to build your own kind of healthy and profitable communication strategy. ๐บ๐
However, if you'd like, I can also do this together with you in a 1:1 Integration Check-up, in which you not only realign your online communication strategically and with (the simplest possible) tools and methods (I love "simple".๐). You will also learn how to get the most out of your existing foundation and the aspects of your communication archetype in this game. ๐ฎ๐
With this in mind: Enjoy your ride on the dark side of digital communication! ๐๐ณ๐
