Is it intuitive or chaotic? No matter how you describe yourself, if this digital communication archetype is one thing, then it's not reluctant.๐โจ Whether offline or online, you go live, do your postings and like to do your thing.๐๐ฅ And every now and then you wonder why others find it so difficult to show themselves and their business frankly... ๐ But even that's okay. You are the Stagediver and you have this clarity within you that you have a message and perhaps also that you are there to share something.๐ Only - and this is what makes this communication archetype so exciting - you don't always know what exactly that is.๐ And that in turn makes you feel insecure, makes you look for better methods, for better strategies (because that's just how it's done).๐ค
Miranda Priestly (The Devil Wears Prada)
Obviously. The Stagediver is one of those digital communication archetypes that are particularly polarizing.๐ฆ๏ธ Simply because they are "there", on the public or private stage. AND - here's the fun part - because they live in their own time zone and at their own pace.โฒ๏ธ At your best, you take all the time in the world for what is currently a priority or relevant to you.๐โจ
Does that sound reckless at first glance? Maybe for some people. But for others, this "I do it my way" is the crucial factor that brings them into your world. ๐ชท Simply because you're so relaxed about it and because you're cool with it that some people might think you're not cool with it. ๐ You are and live and act on your stage, which you call business, life or community. And you take it for granted that you are safe and appreciated. No matter what you choose. It's always the right thing for you and you have so much confidence in yourself and you know it's true. Just because your results tell their own tale.๐โจ๐ค
As I said, this digital communication archetype is polarizing. And so, despite all your communication skills and quick-wittedness, you might quickly be influenced by the opinions of others.๐ช๏ธ Listening is not wrong per se, but it can become a problem if you put these opinions above your own perspective without checking them.โ๏ธ
You are a communication archetype with a very strong chaotic dimension.๐ Fixed plans for your content, too small time frames and too much structure unsettle you more than they help you.๐ฌ As the type of communicator who is the quickest to become visible, the Stagediver is a dirsuptor who brings something to the outside world in order to create change - more unconsciously than intentionally. โ๏ธ But just because you cannot assess your communication strength and its connection to your inner guidance - due to intuition, but also expertise - and therefore do not have a crystal-clear result in mind, you believe that you need more security on the outside.๐ฆบ Yet it is this insecurity that acts as an unconscious protective mechanism for you and leads to you holding back your true strength in communication on the stages you play on. Being friendlier than you want to be. Being less intense than you could be.๐ But this is exactly what leads to your audience, followers or customers only listening to you with only one ear, maybe even being bored๐ฅฑ or constantly giving you tips on how you can do better instead of engaging with your message.
I've said it before in this text, the Stagediver is THE communication archetype that belongs in visibility. So now my question is, do you actually dare to do it? ๐๐ค
Visibility is another (not)word that has suffered quite a few burns in online marketing.๐ And yet. The Stagediver can't do it without being visible.๐ดโโ ๏ธโจ
But not with this social media circus - no, please don't.๐ As the Stagediver, for the next 30 minutes you just get to be honest with yourself - perhaps for the first time - in the way you can right now and today.๐๐
If you are honest about yourself and with yourself, it will be easier for you to leave behind all the "honest" opinions others have of you when you are on the stage - simply because you know who you are, what you stand for - and that this is not a matter for discussion.โ
So, take a piece of paper or your journal and ask yourself: Where can I be a little more honest with myself here and now? And think back to the previous week. In which moments were you fully with yourself, honest and in your personal rhythm? And in which moments were you traveling at someone else's rhythm and what would you have needed to stay in your own rhythm? ๐ผ
Take your time and allow these questions to have an effect on you and your feelings. If you like, feel free to write down which feelings are linked to which thoughts.โ๏ธ Anything is fine. And yes, you're on the right path, even if you might not feel that way when you're answering these questions and would perhaps prefer a little more help with your strategy. But you don't need that right now. As I said, everything is fine. Let it be there. And see what arises from it all by itself or what comes into your mind as a thought.๐๐โญ
First of all: I love that you've read this far. ๐ฅ๐ชโจ
But maybe you're already wondering when you will get to the part where you find out what this has to do with your business and your long-term digital communication. ๐ดโโ ๏ธ๐ฎ๐
Well, let me put it this way. You're already in the game. ๐๐
Communication is ALWAYS a very personal component. This also applies if you are online as an entrepreneur, founder or even as an employee. It may sound strange at first glance, but this is precisely the point at which in many campaigns and strategies it is determined whether they work or not. ๐ฏ๐คทโโ๏ธ
That's exactly why I'm doing the personal part with you here in the test first - and also because no one else has really had it on their radar yet. (Fun fact: That's exactly what I always mean by "The Dark Side of Digital Communication". ๐๐)
The best place to start is by integrating your archetype and the insights you have gained from this test result into your existing corporate communication strategy.
And yes, you may feel like you don't know where to start or that you have to completely rebuild everything. But especially the second case is very rare. So feel free to use the foundation you already have to build your own kind of healthy and profitable communication strategy. ๐บ๐
However, if you'd like, I can also do this together with you in a 1:1 Integration Check-up, in which you not only realign your online communication strategically and with (the simplest possible) tools and methods (I love "simple".๐). You will also learn how to get the most out of your existing foundation and the aspects of your communication archetype in this game. ๐ฎ๐
With this in mind: Enjoy your ride on the dark side of digital communication! ๐๐ณ๐
